ZINC ALUMINIUM FLAKE COATING

ASP Ultra Coating introduces Zinc Aluminium Flake Coating, representing the pinnacle of advanced surface protection technology, designed to provide unrivalled durability.

Our unique Zinc Aluminium Flake Coating combines the strength and durability of aluminium with the corrosion-resistant qualities of zinc. It ensures longevity and performance even in harsh environmental conditions by forming a robust barrier against them. The eco-friendly surface coating gives protection against corrosion, abrasion, chemicals, and other forms of wear in industrial machinery or infrastructure. It is advantageous for non-stick surface protection.

At ASP Ultra Coating, we provide a range of Zinc Aluminium Flake Coating technologies, including coloured finishes, friction control top coats, water-based coatings, and more. We use top-tier technologies, such as ZINTEK from Germany and GEOPERT 500/ECOPERT 500 from South Korea.

Zinc Aluminium Flake coatings are applied non-electrolytically by mechanical application techniques with a combination of organic or inorganic top coat sealers. It could be an alternative to zinc and other electroplating in terms of properties and pollution-related aspects. Zinc Aluminium Flake coatings use zinc and aluminium flakes, an electrically conductive Binder system. It is further combined with lubricants to adjust the coefficient of friction.

Bulky metal components benefit from the high-performance corrosion protection of zinc al-flake coating. The coating uses a “dip-spinning” process. A base coat and a top coat comprise the layer. Zinc and aluminium flakes make up the base coat; the zinc prevents cathode corrosion. Additionally, zinc and aluminium flakes are created in the dry film to create a barrier that lessens the effects of corrosive media such as oxygen, electrolytes, etc., extending the lifespan of the entire protective system.

Properties of Zinc Aluminium flake coatings

  • Its thickness ranges from 8 to 15 microns.
  • During Salt Spray testing, attain resistance in the 500–1500 hour range.
